"You really helped me gain confidence in an area I was ready to give up on - the food I eat! Before Robyn's cooking course I was at the very beginning of my plant-based healthy eating journey. I was overwhelmed with cooking and with the changes I wanted to make, in order for me and my family to live a long and healthy life.
I learned that cooking healthy plant-based foods was delicious! And not at all as difficult as I was fearing. Robyn's course showcased recipes that ranged from simple to "fancy", and she showed us how to do each one step by step. Robyn's knowledge of all things healthy was astounding, and no question was disregarded. Not only did we learn how to cook great tasting, healthy food, we learned WHY each ingredient was good for you, and how it reacts with the body to benefit. I feel much more confident in what foods I select and cook for my family now, since I can make decisions based on taste AND active ingredients. This broke my dependence on recipes and 'meal plans', since I now know for myself how to choose healthy foods. I will definitely attend either this course again or any other cooking courses Robyn runs.
My top favorite recipe is the berrylicious tart. Wow, that was so delicious, it was hard to believe all the ingredients were plant-based and good for you. A few more of my favorites include the veggie-sushi rolls, such a simple idea but so delicious and refreshing. I also really enjoyed every salad Robyn made. Previously, I was not fond of salads, but wow, these are special. I love them now. My son (2.5years old) has a definite favorite, the pistachio-mustard dip, served with a plate full of raw veggies. He won't stop eating it until his plate is clean! Thanks Robyn!"
